So you have some Apple music and want to be able to access it freely without having it governed solely by iTunes? Well lo and behold presenting TuneFab’s Apple Music Converter. This fully featured software, in three easy steps, converts over your desired apple music tracks (and subsequently removing DRM) to a format that is compatible with any computer device and with no restrictions. Well isn’t that handy?
This application comes equipped with a whole range of features including:
- Convert Apple Music Tracks to MP3/AC3/FLAC/AIFF
- Convert Audiobooks i.e iTunes M4B and Audiable AA, AAX files to MP3, M4a, FLAC.
- Extract Audio from iTunes Video
- Compatible with iTunes Library
- Customizable Options – adjust audio parameters like bit rate, codec, sample rate and channels.
- Fast Conversion
Downloading and installing the application takes mere minutes. Note – you need to have iTunes installed on your computer for the application to function.
The application shows us a list of what is in our iTunes library if you click on Playlists – Library. For further breakdown into music, movies etc you just click on the relevant subheading.
In the Options section, we can configure a few settings such as audio conversion speed (default is 5), rename or sort output files by title, artist etc and change language (for example – English, French, Dutch, Spanish, Japanese) . We prefer to leave the settings as is!
Now let’s try convert some of those apple music files to Windows supported format! We select a few songs from our list and then check out the Output Format. There are a variety of options to choose here such as M4A, AC3, MKA but we decide to go with the tried and true – MP3.
When we are happy with the configuration, we click Convert.
The songs are then converting! It does take a bit of time to changeover the songs so best to leave this running over night if you have thousands of songs in the queue.
Made a mistake though? On the bottom right hand corner of the dialog screen, you can click Stop which cancels the entire process and then starts again once you click the Start icon.
The dialog box remains open when the conversion of all selected songs are complete.
We select the ‘Open Output File’ button which opens up File Explorer and we can access the converted music files.
Now, let’s take an iTunes video we have and test out detaching the audio from it. We navigate to a video and select it. Then select Convert.
The conversion process is taking place.
As before, it is transformed into a mp3 audio file that we can easily open on any device. No trouble at all!
