If you are experiencing problems with Internet Explorer 9, such as crashing or lagging, it is recommended to roll back to a previous version.
Click Start and type Program and Features in the search box.
Select View installed updates on the left hand side of the Programs and Features dialog box.
Scroll down to the Microsoft Windows subheading and click on Windows Internet Explorer 9. Click on Uninstall that appears next to the Organize button.
A message box appears asking if you are certain that you want to uninstall the program. Click Yes.
After Internet Explorer 9 is uninstalled, you are prompted to restart your computer for changes to take effect. Click Restart Now.
Once you have logged back into Windows 7, open Internet Explorer to check that you have restored to the previous version (as seen below).
