How to erase your web history in Google Chrome

Want to hide the websites you have visited from prying eyes? Then follow these quick steps to remove web history from your Google Chrome:

In a Google Chrome browser, navigate to the menu icon and click History from the drop down list. For savvy computer users, you can also press Ctrl + H.

On the History page, select Clear Browsing data…

The Clear Browsing data dialog box pops up, you can configure what exactly you want cleared from your browsing data i.e. download history, cookies, password.

You are also able to choose how far back you want to remove your browsing history from (past hour, past day, beginning of time etc).

When you are fine with the settings you have selected, click Clear Browsing Data.
